Cap the embedded shell at its portal container height so steering and stop controls remain accessible. Skip vector retrieval for an empty authoritative Memory archive and compute SQL-rule embeddings lazily.
Validated with 54 Memory tests, 90 frontend tests, five browser scenarios, frontend and Docker builds, and a read-only comparison against the real empty Memory archive.
Implement approved specification #32 and tickets #33-#37. Keep host authentication server-verified and pin session interaction language. Compile scoped base selectors for browser compatibility and retain full gutters during CSS pruning.
Add catalog-owned logical relationships and runtime snapshots, extend the database-management UI and validation coverage, and document the updated operational workflow.
Keep active sensitive-generation status in a tooltip and indicator, and update the layout E2E to follow the history action in its new database-scoped location.
Give live feedback that something is happening the moment a session starts
processing: the red stop dot in the composer beats with a soft heartbeat + halo
while the harness is actively working (running — not waiting at a gate or
finalized), and settles the instant the model hands control back to the reviewer
or the session ends. Ring/scale only (no layout properties animated); honors
prefers-reduced-motion.

Adopt the portal's design language so the app embeds seamlessly into its
header/sidebar chrome later:
- Token layer rewritten as raw OKLCH triplets (the previous oklch()-wrapped
vars produced invalid colors; the UI was effectively unstyled). Values mirror
GSD: Manrope + Fraunces fonts, #cb333b red brand, warm off-white surfaces,
pill buttons, brand focus rings. Dark tokens follow .dark or the portal's
[data-bs-theme=dark].
- Layout: no left sidebar, no header (the portal supplies them). Conversation
column flush-left with a slim F1-F8 phase strip; session rail moved to the
RIGHT, mirroring the portal's left sidebar (red section label, red-tint active
item). Editorial empty state.
- Transcript component now actually renders the streamed assistant turns (the
store accumulated them but nothing displayed them). Toaster mounted for errors
(matchMedia polyfill added to the jsdom test setup).

init + button/checkbox/radio-group/textarea/card/dialog/badge/sonner added.
tailwind.config.ts extended with oklch CSS-variable color mapping required
by ShadCn v4 @apply directives. npm test passes; npm run build clean.
